Life's Journey Senior Living - Paris Our goal at Life’s Journey is to provide love, compassion, dignity, safety, and security. We all know how hard it is to lose our independence in life as age becomes a factor. The objective at our facility is to give our neighbors all the support they require to maintain their own independence for as long as they can. Also providing the dignity that they deserve and the compassion to help them through all of the obstacles that they struggle with in regards to their happenings and tasks of daily living. Our Community can accommodate 24 neighbors. Providing 24-hour care to meet the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and medical needs of each of our neighbors. We strive to provide a home-like atmosphere, by bringing in the community to participate through happenings and one on one involvement. Providing well balanced meals with a dietician on hand to guide out kitchen staff in individual meal plans for any and all dietary needs. The kitchen serves three daily meals and three snacks. Our kitchen is not only spacious to requests, but it is also accessible 24-hours a day. Our neighbor’s physical needs that are met daily include dressing, bathing, and other acts of daily living. We provide a beautician/barber onsite for weekly offerings. Our staff is here to help with the emotional challenges of being away from home. We provide social stability by encouraging interaction with other neighbors with monthly resident council meetings. These meetings allow our neighbors to have a voice to request what they would like to see in the oncoming months. We also have a full time activity director that provides daily happenings and brings the community into their environment. When meeting the spiritual needs of our neighbors, we have a pastor that comes in to lead in prayer and worship every week. Our neighbors are provided a private bedroom and bathroom with full laundry and housekeeping services. We pride ourselves in providing a home away from home space to include each and every need our neighbors may have. Overall, our mission is to provide a warm, caring home away from home with great staff to honor love, compassion, dignity, safety, & security. What Makes Us Special We also administer medical offerings that provide care at many different levels for each individual neighbor. These services include around the clock nursing, monitoring and administration of medications, onsite portable X-ray, visiting physical therapy, visiting lab services, Respite care, 24-Hour Adult Day Care and Hospice Care.
