Positive experiences
They are very good. They keep our rooms nice and clean. Give assistance when needed. Help us in whatever way possible. I like the atmosphere and the activities. I like the staff. They feel like family!
We chose this facility because of the price for length of time my mom may have left. We want the money we have to house mom for as long as possible. And they were very welcoming, friendly, treated us like family immediately when I toured. I love Fields of Florence and their staff. They are great with my mom.
Areas for improvement
They do a great sales pitch but don't actually do the things they said they would do. They don't escort mom to meals as promised. They are ok with her sleeping all day and not eating. They don't reach out to let us know she isn't doing well.
Overall things fairly good. Am having problems with medicines, mostly insulin records. Food ok but often not as advertised. No condiments, butter or jelly. Activities every day but often not so much for men. Most of staff very good and friendly. Some of problems incurred due to staffing problems being worked on with new supervisor.
The facility has a 4.3-star average rating from 49 resident reviews, though ratings vary across different review platforms.

Key questions:
- When did the current management team take over, and what changes have they implemented?
- What is the average tenure of the current staff members?
- How has the care philosophy changed since the transition?
- What is the current staff turnover rate?
- How does the facility ensure continuity of care during staff changes?
- What improvements have been made to address previous concerns about staffing levels?
Conclusion

Resident feedback is mixed. Many praise staff care and helpfulness. Others report gaps between what the facility promises and what it delivers, particularly around meal escort service and medication record-keeping. The 2021 management change may have contributed to these inconsistencies, making an in-person visit important.
Use the evaluation tools in this review to assess whether the facility meets your needs, preferences, and budget. During your visit, pay close attention to staff interactions, food quality, and activity offerings—these vary most across resident feedback.
The facility offers memory care and transportation services.
