Allerton House at Harbor Park is a 72-apartment assisted living community in Hingham with a separate 16-apartment Memory Care Neighborhood. The property has operated for more than 20 years on Condito Road, a quiet residential street minutes from downtown Hingham and the harbor, with walking paths on the grounds. Assisted living residents receive one hour of daily personal care, three meals daily in the dining room, housekeeping and laundry services, and 24-hour staffing with nursing oversight.
Medication management and help with bathing and dressing are available. All utilities are included, along with a 24-hour emergency response system in bedrooms and bathrooms. The community offers daily activities, local transportation, and cable TV and phone hookups (fees may apply).
The Memory Care Neighborhood is designed for residents with Alzheimer's disease or other memory disorders and includes 10 studio apartments and 3 two-bedroom companion suites. The program follows Alzheimer's Association habilitation therapy methods and provides up to 10 hours daily of structured activities with designated activity staff. A full-time Program Director oversees the neighborhood, which features a private courtyard.
Staff include a Resident Services Director with nursing credentials. Residents have access to arts, history, and shopping in the surrounding town.
