About Augsburg Lutheran Assisted Living
Augsburg Lutheran Home and Village is a non-profit, faith-based continuing care community in Baltimore County serving residents since 1892. It is nationally accredited and offers independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services on a 52-acre campus. The community includes a chapel with a full-time pastor on staff.
Independent living apartments range from studios to two-bedroom units with two full baths. Residents have access to a convenience store, wellness suite, fitness room, game room, computer room, beauty and barber shop, and dining options. Independent living includes one hour of housekeeping per month.
Assisted living provides private rooms, three meals daily, laundry and housekeeping services, and a recreation and activity program. Common areas include a library, game parlor, and kitchenettes. Respite care is available.

The facilities are very nice, the grounds are beautiful, and having a full-time pastor and chapel on site is a true blessing.

This is the aspect you just can't know 100% ahead of time, and you WILL need, as elderly people often have frequent hospitalizations, followed by rehab (sub-acute care) in the nursing level, even if they are basically living independently in an apartment.
