About Azalea Estates Of Monroe
Azalea Estates is an assisted living community in Monroe with 60 private suites—studios, one-bedroom, and one-bedroom deluxe units—on 5 landscaped acres off Sterlington Road near St. Francis North hospital. All suites include a private bath, kitchen or kitchenette, thermostat control, and closet space.
The facility is single-level with no stairs or elevators. Residents receive assistance with activities of daily living as needed, three daily meals with menu choices served restaurant-style, daily exercise classes, and medication monitoring. Utilities (except telephone) and basic cable are included in monthly rent.
Additional features include a screened porch, library, designated dining area with in-house catering, safe showers with grab bars, an emergency response system with pull cord and personal pendant, and weekday transportation for local doctor visits. Small pets are welcome. The community was designed and is managed by its original owners, who have over 75 years of combined senior living experience.
