The community has 60 private suites available in studio, one-bedroom, and one-bedroom deluxe floor plans, each with a private bath, kitchenette or full kitchen, individual thermostat, and closet space.
The single-level layout eliminates stairs and elevators. Utilities (except telephone) and basic cable are included in monthly rent. The community is owned and managed by its original developers, who have over 75 years of combined experience in senior living.
Azalea Estates provides assistance with activities of daily living, three daily meals served restaurant-style with menu choices, and designated private dining space available for gatherings. Additional services include structured exercise classes, medication management, daily transportation Monday through Friday for local medical appointments, and an emergency response system with both pull cords and personal pendants in each suite. The grounds include a screened porch, library with large-print materials, and space for small pets.
Shower facilities have grab bars for safety. There is no long-term financial obligation required.
