Azalea Estates is an assisted living community in Shreveport with 60 private suites—studios, one-bedroom, and one-bedroom deluxe units—on a 5-acre property off E. Flournoy Lucas Road near the Inner Loop Expressway. The facility is single-level with no stairs or elevators.
Units include a private bathroom, kitchen or kitchenette, thermostat control, and closet space; screened porches are available for residents. Assistance with activities of daily living is provided as needed. The community offers three meals daily with menu choices served restaurant-style, structured daily exercise classes, and a library with large-print books and media.
Medical support includes private medication monitoring and an emergency response system with both pull-cord and personal pendant options. Utilities (except telephone) and basic cable are included in monthly rent. Small pets are welcome.
Courtesy transportation is available Monday through Friday for local medical appointments, and a designated private dining area with in-house catering can be arranged for gatherings. The property was developed by its current owners, who have over 75 years of combined experience in senior living. There is no long-term financial obligation required. Rates are subject to change.

You see I live in New Waverly, TX and still work so it is hard for me to drive the 250 miles in a few minutes to see to her needs.
