Beaver Dam Assisted Living

Beaver Dam Assisted Living is a state-certified Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC) offering assisted living services on the shore of Beaver Dam Lake. The community provides one-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes, private bathrooms with walk-in showers, and common areas including a dining room, activity rooms, salon, chapel, theater, and gardens. Three meals are served daily, with snacks and beverages available throughout the day.

Staff includes a registered nurse on site, an executive director, a Resident Care Coordinator, life enrichment coordinators, housekeeping, maintenance, dietary staff, and trained caregivers available 24 hours to assist with medication management, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, mobility assistance, and other activities of daily living. The community specializes in managing chronic conditions including Diabetes and Parkinson's Disease. A full-time driver operates a bus with wheelchair lift Monday through Friday for transportation to medical appointments within a 20-mile radius, shopping, and social outings.

Social and recreational activities include games, crafts, baking, entertainment, and spiritual programs. Care is tailored to individual needs rather than following a standard model. Residents and families work with staff to determine the appropriate level of assistance.

Safety features include an Emergency Call System in each apartment; residents with dementia receive scheduled staff check-ins instead. Both ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents are accepted. The community also manages assistance with dressing, grooming, ambulation, incontinence management, and chronic disease management.

Late-stage dementia and Alzheimer's disease are served at the separate Beaver Dam Memory Care community. Hospice care is available.
