That's why Caring Matters only hires individuals who believe that every person deserves to be treated with kindness, care, and respect. All our caregivers are drug tested prior to hiring and are subject to routine, random drug testing on an ongoing basis. We need all our professional caregivers to have at least two years of paid experience and three suitable references. In addition, we screen each candidate with a criminal background check, and need both a clean child abuse clearance and clean recent driving record. All caregivers must pass a series of tests before being hired, attend a training session that reviews basic care upon acceptance of their employment, and must participate in ongoing training sessions.
