About Edenwald
Edenwald Southerly Place provides assisted living for residents who want private apartments with support for daily activities. The community offers medical care including a licensed nurse and nursing assistants on site around the clock, a nurse practitioner five days a week, and access to specialists in internal medicine, audiology, psychiatry, dentistry, podiatry, ophthalmology, and cardiology. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy are available.
Residents receive medication administration and nightly health care staff visits if desired, along with help with bathing and dressing. A licensed clinical social worker is on staff. Each resident room has an emergency call system, and emergency medical pendants are available.
Three meals and snacks are served daily in the assisted living dining room, with dietary consultations available upon request. Memory care is available if needed in the future at no additional cost beyond the assisted living monthly fee. The community provides 24-hour security and reception, maintains apartments and grounds, offers housekeeping twice weekly with daily trash removal, and provides weekly laundry service for flat linens.
Seasonal cleaning occurs twice yearly, and bed-making is available upon request. Washer and dryer units are on each floor for residents who prefer to do their own laundry. Transportation is provided to the dining room, mailboxes, beauty salon, and for group activities and shopping trips.
