About Fairgreen Assisted Living Facility
Fairgreen Assisted Living was founded in 1993 by Sue Kepler, a registered nurse who worked in operating rooms in London before moving to Florida to focus on elderly care. She opened a second facility in 1998. The current community, established in 2007, provides assisted living in private and semi-private rooms.
Staffing includes nurses and trained caregivers available 24 hours daily to assist with medication, bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal care. The facility has a 24-hour monitored fire alarm system, fire sprinklers, and emergency call systems in rooms. An in-house dietary manager prepares three nutritionally balanced meals daily plus snacks; phone and cable hookups are available for an additional fee.
Housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance services are included. Transportation is arranged as needed, and an adult day program and respite care are offered. Daily activities include bingo, cards, arts and crafts, trivia, and Wii games. Live music performances are scheduled three times per week. On-site beauty and barber services are available for an additional fee.

Facility owners insured good care by hiring amazing staff offering the resident help as needed both emotional and personal treating each individually.

One of the nurses would argue with her, trying to correct her, she has Alzheimers, can't you just agree with someone and leave it alone, why do you feel the need to anger her by being right?, It is supposed to be a locked facility but my grandmother left several times and they had to go running after her.

Unfortunately, that was not our experience in other facilities as some are obviously money driven, over medicated residents, had other residents assist with resident care (yes, that really occurred), would not provide provisions or care plans to reduce falls, or were apathetic to the residents needs.
