Gardens of Statesville consists of two communities: Cardinal Village, which has 15 one- and two-bedroom brick cottages for independent living with included weekly housekeeping, maintenance, and lawn care, plus garages and furnished kitchens; and an assisted living section with semi-private and private suites. Both communities serve three meals daily in a restaurant-style dining room and offer daily activities. Assisted living residents receive help with medications, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance from a licensed RN on staff around the clock.
The community holds a 4-star rating from North Carolina's assisted living licensing board. Memory care is planned for the near future.

We have had some trouble dealing with the administrative staff also.

The residents are always happy and very active, the families and visitors are always greeted with cheer.

They will not transport a resident back from the hospital so the resident has to transport or pay the ambulance company up to $500.

No activities and administration has no plans of hiring somebody part time to keep our seniors involved and active.
