About Heritage Elm Grove
Heritage Elm Grove Assisted Living offers studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments where residents can maintain independent living. Each unit includes a kitchenette, spacious closets, private bathroom with walk-in shower, and an emergency call system with pendant. Staff organize social activities and outings, though frequency and availability vary.
The community also operates a dedicated Memory Care program for residents with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias. Memory Care residents receive 24-hour individualized care, medication monitoring, and nutritional services coordinated with registered nurses and residents' physicians. Memory Care apartments are private, furnished or unfurnished, with private bathrooms, walk-in showers, and a simplified floor plan designed to support residents' orientation and safety.
Enhanced Assisted Living is available for seniors requiring higher-level physical and medical support but not skilled nursing. Licensed as a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF), Enhanced Assisted Living provides extensive assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication administration. Staff also offer cueing and directional support during meals and activities.
Three meals daily, specialized diets, and snacks are provided. Enhanced Assisted Living maintains a higher staff-to-resident ratio than standard assisted living. Heritage Elm Grove is open to residents with varying care needs and works with residents' existing physicians.
It offers golden oaks retirement community, maplewood senior living, silver springs assisted living, pinecrest elder care, willow creek senior residences, sunset ridge retirement village, cedar haven senior apartments, and autumn leaves memory care. I got to visit their dining area, and it is clean.

The chef actually came out and asked us if everything was OK or if there was anything he could do that was different, so I was very impressed with that.

They have not delivered medication on time, have repeatedly not responded to her emergency call button, have not cleaned her room and the staff treats her like a child ( on the verge of verbal abuse).

The place was beautiful and the people living there looked very happy! A gentleman was playing the piano for all of the seniors.

He's in a wheelchair, but he is able to go out there and sit in the sun almost daily.
