It is going to be hard to leave the \"family\" that is Kenton Manor.

My Grandmother would wheel her wheel chair up and down the halls and when she came to a fire alarm she would pull it.

We had an appointment with the lady that gave us the tour and she was like 10 minutes late.

She is so unhappy and she runs away some times.

They had lots of activities and things available for her.

I visited a friend there that could not read\/write, and had cognitive issues, they had her sign paper work stating she understood she was leaving AMA.

The Physical and Occupational Therapy staff were very good.

"I did not like this place while they were in charge on my parent they ruined her hearing aids in the shower , they kept her from using the call button and telephone across the room out of reach by placing it across the room , they did not change her bandages as needed and caused worse problems for her to deal with after her discharge, their PT did not encourage therapy that promotes independents in her home they offered very little of value of physical therapy for return to home life , her blouse and socks were missing at discharge , they ignored my request to remove catheter because she did not need it before coming to their facilities up until 2 days before leaving Kenton Manor they gave her salty foods even though I told them she eats salt-free diet , they terrified her when using the hoyer hoist lift by jerking her around rather than explaining to her what they were about to do, I also request female help not male help which also was ignored Mom claims their male help got personal with her I would not take my sick dog to this place that is how bad it is".
