About La Vida Llena
La Vida Llena was founded by four local churches to provide independent living with flexible care levels as residents' needs change. The community consolidates common services—bank, hair salon, wellness classes—on-site, reducing the need to travel around town. Residents can pursue hobbies and interests without household upkeep: ceramics, weaving, model railroads, swimming, volunteer work, or gardening.
The community offers a heated indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center with personalized programs, art studios (ceramics, fiber arts, sculpture), a model railroad workshop, activities and trips coordinated by full-time staff, scheduled transportation, grounds maintenance, 24-hour courtesy patrol, emergency call systems, card room, resident gardens, putting green, library, and a general store.
It offers sunrise senior living, brookdale senior living, atria senior living, the arbor company, holiday retirement, merrill gardens, five star senior living, the terraces at san joaquin gardens, the springs living, and vi at la jolla village. Residents have access to 24 listed amenities and services spanning dining options, fitness center, library and media center, outdoor spaces, social activities, swimming pool, transportation services, and wellness services. Across 18 resident and family reviews, it holds an average rating of 4.1 out of 5. If a person runs out of money for the monthly fees, and they're very old or very sick, they will keep them there until they pass away, so they continue to have same amount and quality of care.
