Laguna Park The Kang Family has served the elderly community of Sacramento for over 15 years. In 2000, Caroline and Francis Kang opened their first board and care, Laguna Park RCFE in Elk Grove.Each room is equipped with a flat screen cable television, chair with ottoman, as well as a bed, dresser and nightstand.Every week our Activities Director ensures residents participate in planned happenings that focus on physical fitness, cognitive abilities and daily living. We especially concentrate on personal rehabilitation and work closely with our staff and therapists to ensure physical progress. In addition to guaranteeing a healthy atmosphere, we also provide nutritious, balanced and appetizing meal plans. Our staff is also trained to accommodate particular community members with unique meal needs.Included in our facility, are trained, professional, friendly and caring staff members. They are trained monthly in Dementia care, medication management and emergency procedures. They all speak fluent English and maintain a current CPR and First Aid certificate. Each employee is carefully screened and undergoes both a criminal and drug background check. Each home employs two caregivers during the day as well as an awake night staff.We work closely with our 24-hour, on call nurse, as well as personal doctors to make certain each resident is carefully monitored.
