Staff assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, and medication management. A full-time registered nurse and 24-hour certified nursing staff are on site. The community provides three meals daily plus snacks in a restaurant-style dining room, weekly housekeeping and linen service, and scheduled transportation to medical appointments and errands. A full activity program includes physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual activities. Common areas include a library, activity room, game room, fitness and therapy room, and beauty and barber shop. All apartments have individual temperature control, 24-hour emergency call systems, grab bars, and emergency response systems throughout the property.
Memory care residents at The Cottage live in private apartments and receive assistance and supervision with eating, bathing, grooming, incontinence care, and walking. Activities are tailored to residents' needs and abilities. Apartments are furnished to feel home-like, with residents' personal belongings and mementos. The Cottage maintains secure grounds with landscaped walking paths and water features. Staff are trained in dementia care.
