Light Of Hearts Villa

Light of Hearts Villa serves adults 60 and older of all faiths in Bedford, Ohio. The community offers independent living, assisted living, short-term respite stays, and memory care (Lumen Lane). It is a 501(c)(3) licensed residential care facility co-sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati and the Sisters of Charity Health System.

Independent living residents occupy one of 90 private suites, each with a kitchenette, full bathroom, telephone, cable, and WiFi. A wireless nurse call system is available in all units. Common areas include a dining room and gathering spaces. Residents can personalize their suites with personal items. The community offers Catholic Mass five days a week and daily Rosary in its chapel, along with programming and outdoor grounds.

Assisted living provides support for residents who need help with daily activities. Suites are private, and staff assist with care needs while residents remain as independent as possible.

Lumen Lane Memory Care is a secured unit designed for people with dementia at various stages. The program includes structured activities and daily monitoring of vital signs and weight. Staff are available 24 hours, seven days a week. The facility works with families to assess individual needs before admission.

The community provides chef-prepared meals, 24-hour nursing assistance, and personalized support services across all levels of care.
