This is truly an active, independent senior living community in beautiful surroundings, with elegant interior décor and amenities. We do include two meals a day, housekeeping, maintenance, all utilities except phone, transportation, lots of activities and entertainment and a great physical and brain exercise program. As pretty as the brochure is, the community is much nicer. The very best thing about McDowell is the wonderful members we have. They are truly a vibrant, energetic, charming group and are warm and welcoming to all our newcomers.
