About Mount Vernon Village
Mount Vernon Village is a 70-unit independent living community with one and two bedroom condominiums on a 7-acre campus in a residential neighborhood. The low-rise buildings are no more than two stories, and most residents can park directly outside their units. The grounds include dogwoods, crepe myrtles, and natural tree buffers between properties; many residents walk the campus daily.
Mount Vernon Village is governed by residents rather than operated as a commercial enterprise, and residents can choose their own care provider. The community hosts weekly activities including arts and crafts, bingo, bridge, rummy, trivia, puzzles, movies, and Sunday vespers. The school at the nearby Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church occasionally provides free concerts for residents. Units are available for sale or rent.
It offers sunset gardens, willow creek residences, golden years retreat, maplewood commons, silver oak estates, harmony haven, cedar ridge apartments, lakeside living, pinecrest place, and riverbend senior living. Residents have access to 10 listed amenities and services spanning health and wellness, parks and recreation, public services, shopping and dining, and transportation.
