Pacific View Senior Living opened in 1994 as Heritage Place under Coquille Tribe ownership and operation. It has been an active participant in the Bandon community, hosting holiday events, fundraising efforts, and support groups. The community serves residents who want autonomy in how they spend their time and structure their days.
Assisted living services begin with basic amenities: three meals and snacks daily, weekly housekeeping and linen service, and utilities (excluding phone and cable). Additional personal assistance is available based on individual need and assessed at move-in and regularly thereafter. These services include medication management support, help with bathing and dressing, escort assistance to meals and activities, and periodic nighttime care. The community also offers diabetic care, incontinence care, and medical appointment scheduling. Additional charges apply for personal assistance services beyond the basic package.
Memory care is available with 24-hour staffing. The Life Engagement program structures activities around each resident's interests and abilities—creative arts, reminiscence, and participation in daily tasks like setting the table or folding laundry. The program aims to support cognitive, sensory, and physical engagement throughout the day. Residents may participate in visits with local school children and other community activities. Specialty care is provided for all memory care residents.
