We provide an intermediate level of support, 24 hours a day, with services such as three meals served daily; assistance, as needed, with personal care (dressing, bathing, grooming, ambulation with or without a device); and medication administration. You can choose to participate in activities planned by our activities director or pursue your own hobbies and interests. Complimentary transportation can take you to medical appointments. You also experience peace of mind with staffing by licensed RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and access to the Parkway Village Senior Clinic. Parkway Heights assisted living provides safety and security, and at the same time, a carefree environment that will ensure your comfort and enjoyment. Memory Care: Deciding how to care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia may be one of life’s hardest decisions. The Ginny and Bob Shell Alzheimer’s Center at Parkway Village began out of a require and vision to care for adults with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The Shell family recognized the require and partnered with Baptist Health and Parkway Village to create the first free-standing memory care center in Arkansas. Our mission is to provide excellent care for our members, recognizing their special abilities and needs with dignity, purpose, and Christian compassion. Our staff receive special training to meet the challenges associated with caring for individuals with memory loss. We are licensed by the Arkansas Office of Long Term Care as an Assisted Living II Facility. We’re also certified as an Alzheimer’s Special Care Unit. We provide enhanced care and a specialized program of happenings for patients with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder. The happenings encourage members to maintain as much independence as possible and keep a sense of dignity and purpose. We also address the needs of family community members, giving them comfort and peace of mind with the knowledge their loved one is surrounded by a team dedicated to providing the best care available. We support and care for them through a monthly family support group, and we are always available to answer questions, help alleviate concerns, and offer encouragement.
