About Regents Point
Regents Point is a 345-resident continuing care retirement community in Irvine, near UC Irvine and a 347-acre nature preserve. It is owned and operated by HumanGood, a nonprofit organization serving older adults since 1949. The community offers independent living apartments and villas, assisted living, and skilled nursing care on a single campus.
Independent living units range from studios to two-bedroom floor plans, with options including private bathrooms, kitchens or kitchenettes, in-unit washer/dryers, and patios or balconies. All independent living residents receive housekeeping and linen services. Assisted living provides support with meals, bathing, dressing, and medication management for residents who need it.
The skilled nursing unit handles ongoing medical care and hospice. A geriatric physician, dentist, podiatrist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, and speech therapist visit on-site; nursing staff are available 24/7. The community has a fitness center, swimming pool, putting green, lawn bowling, arts studio, library, and chapel.
A full-time activities director coordinates classes, social events, outings, entertainment, and regular trips to nearby theaters and cultural venues. Dining options include a bistro and restaurant-style service, with special meals available for diabetic, kosher, low-salt, gluten-free, low-fat, pureed, renal, and vegetarian diets. Additional services include transportation to medical appointments and other destinations, guest accommodations and meals, private laundry service (additional fees apply), and ambulation assistance.
Pets are allowed. Spanish is spoken on-site. The community is licensed by the California Department of Health Services (060000055), Department of Social Services (300603257), and Community Care Licensing (300).
Shopping and recreation are within one mile; emergency services are less than four miles away. Minimum age for residency is 62.

Hoag Hospital Newport and Hoag Irvine are very close.

You could get a one-bedroom, and if you wanted to have two bedrooms, you could get the one bedroom next door, and they would make those into one unit.

I think it's a really religious place, because they started out as a support for ministers for a certain church, and then they became a non-denominational.
