About Rice Estate
Rice Estate is a continuing care retirement community operated by Lutheran Homes of South Carolina, a nonprofit. The campus sits on wooded grounds near wetlands and includes independent living apartments, assisted living, memory support, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and hospice services. Independent living residents can customize their apartments and have access to dining, walking trails, religious services, and scheduled activities focused on physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social, and vocational wellness.
Assisted living residents receive support with daily activities while maintaining independence, with staff available throughout the day. The community is pet-friendly and has on-site services including a salon and dining room with chef-prepared meals that accommodate dietary needs. Assisted living rates are charged as a daily base rate plus monthly charges based on the level of assistance needed.
The community is faith-based and also provides rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and hospice care.

The ones I saw were more assisted living, and they weren't really sharp, which I wasn't too impressed with.
