Select Home Care is licensed by the Department of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau. Select Home Care provides an alternative for those who require assistance to remain home instead of going to a care facility. Our caregivers assist individuals with all activities of daily living in the privacy of their own homes. Select Home Care specializes in providing personal care on a daily basis with the flexibility of hourly shifts, or full-time care--twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week. Select Home Care is owned and operated by experienced healthcare professionals administrators, licensed to care for older adults. Our employees are experienced, yet we are able to place them at an affordable price. Our current rates are between $22.00 - $25.00 per hour and $390.00 - $425.00 per 24-hour sleep-over shift for a single individual. There are absolutely no extra or hidden charges. Since the caregivers are employees of SHC we take care of workers’ compensations insurance, social security and all income tax withholdings. This eliminates the burdensome paper work clients would face if they were to hire someone directly or through a placement or referral agency. We also have liability insurance and all of our employees are bonded. To make sure we location only the best caregivers, we perform DOJ background checks on all our applicants. Our goal is to assure quality service. Once the specific needs of a client are determined, the best-qualified caregiver is chosen. We have an unlimited compatibility warranty and if the assigned caretaker is not suited for any reason, he or she will be replaced. We make sure that the right match is found. Because of our extensive personnel pool, we can place a caretaker on very short notice if such a require arises. We are referred by most of the well-known local healthcare organizations, as well as the county Area Agency on Aging, and state and national trade associations.
