Sophia Snow Place We are a special senior living community that offers an affordable lifestyle in a modern facility on a lovely campus setting. The roots of our non-profit organization go back to 1856, when our founding organization was formed to meet the needs of aged women in the Roxbury section of Boston. Today, more than 150 years later, Sophia Snow Place offers two senior living options on our campus. For those who seek an independent lifestyle without the cares of home ownership, we offer 66 spacious Independent Living apartments. For seniors who need assistance with some happenings of daily living, we have 36 private Supportive Living suites. Sophia Snow Place offers unusual value in today’s senior living environment. So if you’re seeking a community that is huge enough to provide options but small enough to be caring and homelike, we invite you to take a close look at us. What Makes Us Special Our location affords easy access to world-class medical care, rich cultural and educational resources, sporting events, fine dining and shopping. We are near the Faulkner Hospital, across the street from The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, and have the Allandale Woods reservation just steps out our back door!
