Independent living residents have ground-floor apartments with porches and kitchens.
The community includes a swimming pool with summer water aerobics and year-round exercise classes. For residents requiring assistance with daily activities, Southside Gardens provides supervised apartments with staff trained in personal care. A physician from Our Lady of the Lake Senior Care Center visits every other Friday.
The community does not require lease agreements. Month-to-month stays are available without automatic rent increases. Short-term care assistance during illness is included at no extra charge within the month.
