About The Arbor Inn
The Arbor Inn is an assisted living community established in 1975. Residents have private or semi-private rooms with air conditioning and heating, and the community provides three meals daily plus an evening snack, housekeeping, laundry, and medication management. A full-time nurse and trained aides are on staff 24 hours a day.
Additional services—such as bathing assistance, incontinence management, and blood sugar monitoring—are available through an advanced care plan. Several physicians visit weekly; podiatry, physical therapy, and occupational therapy are available on-site. The community offers a full activity schedule including bingo, card games, arts and crafts, movies, daily exercise, shopping and restaurant trips, holiday and birthday celebrations, religious services in an on-site chapel, and guest speakers on health topics.
Common areas include an entertainment room with large-screen TV, a beauty and barber shop, a game room with pool table, an activity room with kitchen, and a library with large-print books. The grounds have three interior courtyards with barbecue grills and picnic tables. Short-term respite stays are available.
Care plans are developed individually by the licensed nurse on staff to address each resident's daily needs.

She quickly made friends and looked forward to meal times and bingo.

Another bad thing about this Assisted Living home was the medical technicians; they were only trained to work with medication for 7 days and afterward they were given a cart after completing a short test.

I did not like the fact that my Aunts medicine was passed while she was eating; that was a little tacky to me.

The lady that took us on a tour was very nice too.

The food is good and the rooms are spacious and clean.

The patients here are mostly level 2 and 3 and they do not have the staff for this type of care.
