The Forum at Memorial Woods is located a few miles northwest of downtown Houston in the Galleria area, overlooking Memorial Park. Operated by Five Star Senior Living, it offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care in one- and two-bedroom apartments on a rental basis with no buy-in required. The initial move-in fee does not exceed one month's rent, and residents pay for services as used. Short-term stays and respite care are available.
Independent living is designed for active seniors, while assisted living serves those needing help with daily activities. The memory care unit serves seniors with cognitive impairment and uses structured activities based on Montessori principles in secure neighborhoods that prevent wandering. The community provides 24-hour skilled nursing care and offers speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Pet therapy with visiting animals is also available.
The community includes an indoor heated pool and whirlpool, fitness center, library, chapel, salon and barber services, and wireless Internet. Meals are served restaurant-style three times daily. The only down side is it's over the top price of $3,064 minimum a month.

They need to check that place because some of them were sleeping on their shift.

They have very skilled physical, occupational, and cognitive therapists.

Only problem noted so far is the somewhat antiquated temperature control system, which is slowly being updated, floor by floor.
