About The Trace
The Trace at Claiborne Hill is a senior living community in Covington offering independent, assisted living, and memory care. The community opened recently with 77 apartments across two floor plans. Units include granite countertops, pecan cabinets, walk-in showers, kitchenettes with refrigerator and microwave, and emergency call systems.
Independent living residents receive three meals daily, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation. A full-time activity director coordinates social, educational, recreational, and devotional programs. Staff are on-site 24 hours per day. Assisted living adds help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management. The Trace also operates a separate memory care community for residents with Alzheimer's disease or related conditions, supervised by a licensed nurse and featuring its own dining and activity spaces.
The location is north of I-12, near hospitals, churches, and downtown Covington shopping. The property adjoins the St. Tammany Parish Trace walking and biking trail. Pets are permitted.
Residency is month-to-month with no buy-in fee or long-term contract requirement. Monthly rent is guaranteed for one year from move-in. Independent living rates range from $2,225 to $4,800 per month. The community accepts private pay, long-term care insurance, and VA benefits.
