About Via Christe
Via Christe Assisted Living and Memory Care opened in October 2005 in a renovated building in one of Omaha's historic neighborhoods. The facility, a four-level structure originally built in 1962 as part of Duchesne College, contains 41,150 square feet of assisted living and memory care apartments. The community offers Catholic Mass daily in its on-site chapel for residents who wish to attend.
Assisted living residents receive support with activities of daily living—bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance—based on individual need. The community also provides medication management, vital sign monitoring, diabetic care, housekeeping and laundry service more than once weekly, and transportation more than once weekly. Via Christe operates two dedicated memory care floors with 24-hour staffing for residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
Memory care apartments are available in private and semi-private configurations. The community offers three meals daily plus snacks, activities designed for residents with cognitive decline, 24-hour medication administration, housekeeping and laundry service, and assistance with bathing and dressing. All resident apartments include utilities and basic cable service.
