Walnut Crossing, opening fall 2017, is operated by Meridian Senior Living and offers independent and assisted living as well as memory care. Residents can choose companion or private rooms, furnished or unfurnished, each with a private bathroom and step-in shower. The community provides assistance with activities of daily living and medication management, personal care services, and on-site physician services available on call.
Dining accommodates special diets, and housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, transportation, and concierge services are included. A beauty salon and barber shop operate on site. The community organizes social activities, classes, wellness and fitness programs, and educational offerings.
Staff are on site 24/7. For residents with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia, Walnut Crossing operates a separate memory care program with caregivers trained in dementia care.

They were given small portions of food, it was not good, and he lost 24 pounds during his short stay there.
