About Wellington Parke
Wellington Parke is a Christian retirement community offering three levels of care: Independent Living in cottages, Assisted Living, and a dedicated Memory Care unit. The community is family-owned.
Independent Living cottages include one or two bedrooms with walk-in closets, individual climate control, walk-in showers, and access to a library and physical therapy room. An on-site hair salon serves all residents.
Assisted Living provides 24-hour staffing with trained and certified professionals. Residents have one or two bedroom suites with private bathrooms, bathing assistance, and transfer assistance (one-person assist). The community offers three daily chef-prepared meals, with menus planned by a licensed dietician. Utilities and cable TV are included; phone service costs extra. Services include full-time nursing supervision, monthly physician appointment transportation, centrally monitored emergency call systems, video security, and professional counseling when needed.
Memory Care (Enriched Living) is a secured unit with 24-hour staffing. Residents receive specialized individual care services as needed, along with three daily meals in a private dining room, transfer assistance, private bathrooms, individual climate control, and a private courtyard. The unit has alarmed doors and windows, centrally monitored emergency systems, and video security.

My sisters go every night though and make sure she had a shower, so there's somebody there everyday.

The facility location was a little awkward, but we were able to find it in a very quiet area that's not that far from hospitals and shopping.
