She has a small cottage with a kitchen, bedroom, and living area as well as a little storage area.

They have done a lovely remodel; when I visited it before, it looked like a basement of a Baptist church where the chairs lined up.

At Pacific Beach, the properties are more expensive and a lot of them had views of the ocean, so you pay more for that.

In the few months she has been there, my mother has made some friends, although she doesn't interact with most of the residents because there are more than one hundred of them, in varying states of mental alertness.
