Westmont Of La Mesa

Westmont of La Mesa is a newly built senior living community in La Mesa, nine miles east of downtown San Diego, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care for up to 145 residents. The community opened in summer 2019 and sits adjacent to Briercrest Park, within walking distance of the La Mesa Herrick Community Health Library, Grossmont Center (shopping and dining), and Sharp Grossmont Hospital.

Independent living residents manage their own homes while having access to community amenities and activities. The community offers arts and crafts, a library, theater, indoor pool, cultural programs, and fitness classes. A fitness and rehabilitation center is available. Residents can take courses and classes, and dining options include a full restaurant with breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, plus a 24-hour bistro for coffee and snacks. The community is pet-friendly.

Assisted living provides support with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication management for residents who need help maintaining independence. Staff assist with activities of daily living tailored to individual needs.

Memory care is designed for residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory loss conditions. The memory care neighborhood offers personal assistance with daily activities and specialized support for people living with cognitive decline.
