This unit is completely self-contained and does not require, or use, a separate cell plan. The button has an approximately 250 foot range. If the button is out of range for an extended period, the unit will place an alert call automatically. If the dosage is not taken within 30 minutes, it notifies our Care Center, who will then follow up with a phone reminder check.
