HomeCare Options HomeCare Options, formerly Visiting Homemaker Service of Passaic County, has served the people of North Jersey since 1954. With over 400 caregivers on our staff, and 50 years of experience, we continue to serve our community with a commitment to excellence. The mission of HomeCare Options is to provide high quality, caring service that insures that our patients maintain a healthy, stable, in-home environment and lead full, independent lives.

Clinical excellence and patient satisfaction are our highest priorities. All of our caregivers undergo extensive background checks and competency exams. We provide individualized care and always treat our patients with dignity and respect.

Many of our caregivers are bilingual and most live in the area. We put our promises in writing by creating a Client Bill of Rights and a Code of Ethics that we pledge to uphold. Home Care Options is licensed by the state of New Jersey and the agency consistently scores high on patient satisfaction surveys.

As an employer, HomeCare Options consistently ranks high in employee satisfaction surveys and has one of the lowest employee turnover rates. The agency is licensed by the state of New Jersey, accredited, bonded and insured. HCO is accredited by the National Association for Home Care's HomeCare University Accreditation Program.

The agency is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of distinguished members from both the private and public sector. The agency has been an active member of the United Way of Passaic County for over 40 years. We are committed to being the agency of choice in northern New Jersey and therefore continue to develop better methods of delivering cost-effective and quality home care utilizing the latest technologies and procedures.
