Madeline Care Center

Madeline Care Center is a senior living community in Wilmington, Delaware, on a 10-acre campus that serves residents age 55 and over. The campus includes a 19-bed skilled nursing facility offering short-term rehabilitation and post-surgery recovery, with occupational, physical, and speech therapy available seven days a week, plus wound management and behavioral health services. The community also operates a 60-bed residential care section with 24-hour staff support, private rooms with bathrooms, and emergency call systems.

Separate one- and two-bedroom cottages feature full kitchens with modern appliances, customized bathrooms with grab bars and walk-in showers, and private patios. Common amenities include social services, spiritual guidance, and recreational activities. Meal plans are available for an additional fee.

The main building is a renovated Victorian mansion that formerly served as the Highfield Masonic Home of Delaware. The community is located south of Philadelphia, near the University of Delaware, making it accessible to both urban services and more rural surroundings. Renovation plans are underway for additional wellness and recreational facilities.
