Not only did these caregivers provide full-time assistance to Mother by administering medication and ensuring that the oxygen Mother was receiving was adjusted correctly, but they washed clothes, prepared food, did dishes, answered phones, and kept Mother company in ways that were comforting and reassuring to a formerly fiercely independent woman whose time on earth was coming to an end.
